Today I met this lady next to the road sitted alone. I decided to get near and hear from her. After I reached there this is what she told me.
“Am just tired because of the long journey i have walked. I lacked the fare and i decided to walk all the way from home to where am heading. Even this water and bread i just begged on one of the shops as I was walking and luckily the owner of the shop gave me. The fare to my destination is only Ksh 150 but I can’t afford.Am also not feeling well. “
After she told me all that I gave her ksh 1k for fare and added her another 1k she will use to buy food. She was so humbled and asked my number. I gave it to her and then she continued with her journey.
